Instruction Apple Watch — Zcratch
Important information before use
- Always protect the Zcratch UV from UV light (sun / daylight) so that the adhesive does not harden. Repack after use!
- The application video needs to be watched for a successful application!
- The purchased protective PMMA films are protected by a plastic layer on both sides!

(please read)
• Approx. 1 ml Zcratch UV is needed to stick the protective film (better more than less)
• The best results can be achieved when the Zcratch UV runs on its own without pressure. Please do not turn it around! Skip step 4!
• Let the UV lamp shine for about 2 minutes in a slightly darkened room (the UV lamp deactivates itself after 2 minutes)
• Approx. 0.5 ml Zcratch UV is needed to stick the protective film (better more than less)

• The best results can be achieved when the Zcratch UV runs on its own without pressure. To do this, place the watch on a flat-folded handkerchief with the screen facing down after gluing. (just leave it there for about 10–20 seconds, because the product runs faster with the 44mm version due to its higher weight)

The application for Apple Watch Ultra 1/2/3 is the same as for the smartphone/tablet kit. Therefore, follow the smartphone/tablet instructions.

Reason: There is not enough Zcratch UV under the protective film. Due to the film's own surface tension, a negative pressure forms, which is why the film draws air.
Solution:
• Use more adhesive
• Shorter lay-time when turned around
• After laying and turning back, do not harden directly – wait 30–60 seconds and check whether the film draws air
• Do not turn the device over from Apple Watch 7 onwards
If the application has already been done and the adhesive has not hardened, you can lift the protector and refill some Zcratch UV.
Reason: The device, the film and the hands have not been completely cleaned from all adhesive residue.
Solution:
• Clean the device and the film thoroughly with fresh handkerchiefs and isopropanol
• Wash your hands with soap several times
When cleaning the film (where the protective layer has already been removed) be very careful and work with fresh handkerchiefs!
!DO NOT USE KITCHEN ROLL PAPER!
After some time of use
Solution:
• Polish the PMMA film with acrylic glass polish
or
• Apply a new PMMA film
Buy new protective films here: Films
Solution:
• Heat the film briefly with a standard hair dryer
• Clean with isopropanol after removing the PMMA protector
When the film is heated, the adhesive loses its strength and becomes flexible.
