## Important information before use

- Always protect the Zcratch UV from UV light (sun / daylight) so that the adhesive does not harden. Repack after use!

- The application video needs to be watched for a successful application!

- Any standard protective glass is suitable for the application.

## Important application tips

### Smartphone

• Clean the display thoroughly to avoid dirt under the protective glass
• Better use a little less than too much Zcratch UV
• Let the UV lamp shine for about 2 minutes in a slightly darkened room (the UV lamp deactivates itself after 2 minutes)

### Tablet

• Especially with tablets it is important to clean the display thoroughly, as crumbs are difficult to remove later
• Better use a little less than too much Zcratch UV
• Let the UV lamp shine for about 1–2 minutes in a slightly darkened room (the UV lamp deactivates itself after 2 minutes)

### Apple Watch Ultra 1/2/3

• Clean the display thoroughly to avoid dirt under the protective glass
• Better use a little less than too much Zcratch UV
• Let the UV lamp shine for about 2 minutes in a slightly darkened room (the UV lamp deactivates itself after 2 minutes)

## Solving problems

### The air borders cannot be pushed out

Reason: There is too much Zcratch UV under the protective glass / an overpressure forms that cannot be compensated.

Solution:
• Slightly lift the protective glass up to the adhesive and spread the adhesive with the spatula while applying pressure on the glass
• → this results in a thinner and more even adhesive layer

### The film pulls greasy stains after the application

Reason: The device, the protector and the hands have not yet been completely cleaned from all adhesive residue.

Solution:
• Clean the device and the protector thoroughly with fresh handkerchiefs and rubbing alcohol
• Wash your hands several times with soap

### I always have crumbs under the protective glass

Reason: There are too many dust particles in the air.

Solution:
• Most of the dust particles can be removed afterwards with the provided “Dust Absorbers”
• The bathroom is often the room least affected by dust particles

### I need more adhesive and a new protective glass
